Evaluation: Question #6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

In the process of constructing this media product, collectively as a group we have learnt the following:

  1. How to find the best shot for each scene (camera movements etc)
  2. How to use the editing software properly
  3. How to construct the soundtrack
We found out how to find the best shot for each scene when we were put out on filming really. We done this by, before shooting each shot we discussed what was going to be happening in the scene, then chose the best shot, often by trial and error. Often as well we done trial runs with the camera to see the best shot and then filmed it for a real run.

Again we discovered how to edit our footage properly by actually using it, and trial and error. As we went along with editing our footage and we found ourselves stuck with what to do, we would often stay after official hours of work, and used trial and error to get to grips with the software, we would then put it to the test in the official hours of work.

Most of our group had previous knowledge of garage band, so we knew how to create the soundtrack. There were a few thing which we hadn't come across on the software, however again we stayed after hours of work and used trial and error to discover how to use the package properly and then put it to the test in the hours of work.
