Audience identity

As you can see above, this is our audience profile. This tells us what age our target audience would be, roughly and information about them. The main age of the audience is 16, which would mean the BBFC classification would be a 15, which suits our media product anyway, as there isn't enough violent or offensive content in to be an 18.
All of the people we interviewed were male, which sets our audience profile to be mainly male, which is what we expected anyway, however there may be a few exceptions, we believe our audience gender divide will be roughly 70/30% (majority male)
The interviewees said that their interested included gaming, sports and reading. By seeing these interests, this would give us a rough idea as to what to use as tie-ins or promotional products etc, by promoting these products with our film this would give us a larger audience. Also what the interviewees do in their spare time related to this.
All of our interviewees were still in full time education, by seeing this and knowing our BBFC we will know that most of our audience will be in the student priced area at cinemas, so if we chose to exhibit at independent cinemas we may be able to negotiate a lower price of tickets in the student bracket to gain more audience, and potentially make more profit (price elasticity.) Again, our interviewees said they receive their money through their parents or part time jobs, so they wouldn't have much disposable income, meaning that the negotiating of prices may be a good idea.
